For the first time in history, Italy is following the steps of European neighbours like Spain and France to enter the world of Cuban hotel management. Attracted by the island’s ever-increasing tourism appeal, Elite Club Vacanze Group has announced it will be managing the Vedado-Saint John’s-Flaming hotel complex, a trio of small boutique hotels dotting a very centric part of the Cuban capital.
After recently undergoing renovation works to recover from damages caused by Hurricane Irma, Cayo Coco International Airport has received the honour of being named amongst the Caribbean’s best air terminals. The Airports Council International (ACI) selected this base not only due to its new, comfortable facilities but also its high efficiency indicators and high quality of services.
Adding to the number of recreational options outside hotels, this February the Jardines del Rey archipelago is upping the ante with a new selection of activities for national and international tourists alike. In an attempt to diversify and widen the availability of fun pursuits, a local subdelegate from the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) recently revealed the introduction of new activities beyond those offered by the enclave’s famous all-inclusive hotels.
