Photo Competition Terms and Conditions
There are three prizes to be won every month.
- First prize: £500 towards your next holiday with Cuba Holidays.
- Second prize: Canon Camera EOS 1100D Digital SLR or similar.
- Third prize: £150 worth of John Lewis vouchers.
Cuba Holidays' voucher can be redeemed against a Cuba Holidays' holiday departing any time after being awarded. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash. If the total holiday cost is more than £500, the winner will have to pay the difference. There will be no reimbursement for any part of the £500 that is not spent in one booking.
It is a condition of purchase of a Cuba Holidays holiday that, at the time of purchase, the winner has adequate travel insurance cover. If the winner declines to purchase the insurance as offered by the Promoter, details of their existing arrangements must be supplied and must provide coverage at least equivalent to the policy offer by the Promoter. Insurance can be purchased using the vouchers supplied as the prize in this competition.
Once you have posted your photo on Cuba Holidays' Facebook page you will automatically be entered into the prize draw. No purchase is necessary. A minimum of 50 contestants per month are required for the competition to take place, it will rollover to next month if this minimun is not reached.
The winner will be selected at random on the last working day of each month. Cuba Holidays' decision will be final. Winners will be notified by email. If you have won, you will be given a telephone number to call to claim your prize. It is the winner's responsibility to notify Cuba Holidays of any change in contact information. If you are a winner, you must claim your prize within 28 days of being notified. If contact cannot be made within 28 days, the prize will be forfeited.
The prize is for use by the winner only and is not transferable. Entrants must be over 18 years of age and resident in the UK.
If you are a winner, you agree, as a condition of receiving the Prize, to participate in any publicity or promotion organised by the Promoter.

Melia Cuba does it again. The Spanish hotelier who runs the largest percentage of foreign hotels in the island and whose prestige is widely recognised in Cuba and beyond has just welcomed the news that seven of its Cuba properties have been nominated for the World Travel Awards 2019. Among their nominated Cuba hotels is the recently opened Paradisus Los Cayos, a luxury eco-resort in one of Cayo Santa Maria´s finest beach stretches.
Building up to what it could become a fierce and bloody battle between the two American giants, American Airlines is charging against JetBlue in order to be granted more licenses for Cuba flights. After the submitting of applications to the DOT by both airlines (American requested permission for the Miami-Havana route while JetBlue asked for the Fort-Lauderdale-Havana route), American Airlines claims that JetBlue’s FLL-HAV service has flown with an “overabundance” of empty seats in the past.
