Overview

You’ll never forget your time aboard this incredible cruise, which will take you from the historic streets of Havana, through the spectacular waters of the Caribbean Sea, to the warm breezes of Montego Bay in Jamaica and then back to Cuban shores passing through Cienfuegos and the Isle of the Youth.

  • Take advantage of the optional excursions at Cienfuegos Where you can visit the colonial village of Trinidad, a World Cultural Heritage site, where the people are as warm and welcoming as the tropical sun
  • Enjoy a relaxing and authentic Cuban cocktail party With Cuban Mojitos, and Cuba Libres, while you meet the ships staff and on-board guides, on the promenade deck
  • Visit Old Town Havana See the magnificent Spanish colonial architecture surrounding ‘Old Square’ – the original site of parades, bullfights and fiestas

You’ll board this gleaming cruise ship in Havana, sipping mojitos and Cuba Libres on the outer deck as the onboard staff welcomes you to your new home away from home and answers any questions you may have. Enjoy a welcome dinner, the menu filled with Cuban classics, as the boat sails away from the port of Havana.

You’ll spend a wonderfully relaxing day at sea, marvelling at Cuba’s northern coast, as the boat makes its way to the east towards Holguin. Here you’ll find the largest wildlife preserve in Cuba. You’ll see antelopes, wild boars and zebras, and come to understand why Christopher Columbus called this place the “most beautiful land ever seen by human eyes.”

Four days on and you’ll move on to Santiago de Cuba, one of the most historically significant places on the island of Cuba. This urban area is home to most of Cuba’s world-renowned music and is known as the ‘Cradle of the Revolution'. It was here Fidel Castro gave his victory speech after toppling Batista.

On the fifth day of this cruise you’ll have the chance to explore world-famous Montego Bay in Jamaica, where you can explore a plantation, go horseback riding on the beach or go shopping in the vibrant downtown area.

You’ll spend your last two days visiting Cienfuegos and the cobbled streets and colonial buildings of the Colonial Village of Trinidad, along with the Isle of Youth and Port Frances, where you can swim, snorkel and barbecue on the beach with the rest of the passengers.

This ship is a spectacular place to spend a relaxing week. Onboard are numerous bars and restaurants, a swimming pool and whirlpool bath, a fitness centre, beauty salon and wonderful spa where you can have an expert massage. There’s even a casino for the adults on board and, for younger passengers, fully supervised daytime children’s entertainment programmes.

An excellent cruise. The food was very good and varied. The staff were friendly in particular our cabin steward was excellent. The cruise director was one of the best we have ever had. This cruise exceeded our expectations.
