Nowadays, Havana has become a popular holiday destination for travellers. There you could enjoy the presence that you will never find it in other places. In Havana, there are more than 300 units of the classic American cars from the 50 and 60 to give you a tour around the town. Havana itself is the embodiment of a mix from the past and the future.

Havana has been frozen in time for so long, since the U.S. imposes economy embargo on them, they could hardly stabilize their economy, let alone to flourish their city. Since Cuba has open to private enterprise and there is flourishing new life starting from food, nightlife, and culture.

In his article, Cave proposes a list of recommendations of what to do in Havana showing a deep knowledge about the city. For travellers wishing to go to Cuba but not knowing Havana this article is the chance to find places you could visit when you are travelling to Cuba. He shares a long list of attractions offering diverse experiences.

Firstly, you could visit the Museum of the Revolution in the Old Presidential Palace, there you could see holes from the revolution war and documents keep in the glasses case as the proof of Fidel Castro triumph from his days as the guerrillas and beyond. This is the Cuba of a proud and former era that continues to hold on, like an anchor buried deep at sea.

Then, you could chill at El Cocinero, it is the new hip place in town. The food there changes based on the availability and the bartenders along with the servers are gems of efficiency and charms.

After stuffing yourself, try the La Fabrica de Arte Cubano, he suggested, where you can enjoy yourself watching the folk dancing or you can look at the huge colourful painting and art work of the Cuban. After a whole day touring the town and sees the attraction Cuba can provide, you can rest and recharge yourself at Cafe Laurent.

Here you could feel the breeze and the view of the sea; they also provide a rich culinary option. Damian suggests that you must try the Black Ink Seafood Risotto. If you are a fond of cigars, then the Casa Abel which provide a cigar lounge is a must for you to visit. The owner, Jose Abel Espósito Díaz has a charming repository of tobacco lore.

There are a lot of places in Havana for you to explore, take a look to Cave's recommendations and have a great time in Havana!
