Iberostar is building a new five-star all-inclusive resort in Holguin, in addition to three other hotels in Gibara

After expanding in other parts of Cuba, Iberostar has now turned its attention to Holguin, where it has been recently revealed that it's building a five-star all-inclusive beach resort in Guardalavaca. But the Spanish hotelier isn't stopping there as plans are also underway for a further three new properties in the eastern Cuban province, namely in the town of Gibara, famous for its annual Low Budget International Cinema Festival (Festival de Cine Pobre de Gibara).

Iberostar Holguin to open in Cuba in November 2018

Iberostar Hotels and Resorts has revealed it will open its first five-star Selection category hotel in Holguin, Cuba next month. The Spanish hotel group already operates more than 20 properties in Cuba, and the new family-friendly resort will have 638 guest rooms and suites, six gourmet restaurants, kids' club, splash park and four swimming pools. The property will offer an all-inclusive experience for guests.
